About the company:

The Budapest Public Transport Museum was created by Budapesti Kö zleked si Zrt. The idea has been around for a long time. After all, this is a great way to preserve history, to show the way of the industry.

The former railway depot built in 1914 in the city of Szentendre opened its doors for everyone on July 14, 1992. The territory has five exhibition spaces, a museum and a restaurant. For the exposition, 60 cars were restored, among which there is a suburban train, trams and trolleybuses running between the cities. In the museum you can see the collection of tickets, as well as see large-scale models.

Since 2007, temporary exhibitions, museums and events for children have been opened on the territory of the Budapest Public Transport Museum. The administration knows what can surprise its visitors, so it is ready to offer interesting excursions and even watching retro movies.
