The National Wine Museum is located in Szentendre, a city in northern Hungary. It presents exhibits telling about the areas of winemaking in Hungary.
The museum has tasting rooms, attractive for lovers of vintage wines. The exhibition halls present the history of the development of winemaking of the country from antiquity to the present day. In general, an ordinary large wine cellar, cold, with cobwebs of bottles lying in shelves, is wine from various regions of Hungary.
Here you can not only see and learn how to produce the best wines, but also taste any of them for a small fee, which is included in the ticket price, as well as buy a couple of favorite bottles.
