Shashwar Castle Hotel

The castle-hotel Shashvar is one of the most beautiful and cozy castles in Hungary. It was built in 1827 in the style of classicism between tall and majestic trees under the guidance of the Karoya family. In 1882, the castle was rebuilt and enlarged in the Neo-Renaissance style by the talented architect Ibl Miklos. Shashwar is considered a five-star hotel, where visitors can enjoy not only pleasant service, but also the atmosphere of the past.

The Shashwar Hotel opened in 1998 and now has 57 different rooms. Each room is made in an individual style, so the visitor can choose for himself what suits him more. All rooms are equipped with the necessary services for a comfortable stay, including a jacuzzi, sauna and air conditioning.

It offers two conference rooms, a chic restaurant with live music, a cafe, wine cellars, a beer bar, a tennis court, mini golf, indoor and outdoor pools, billiards, bowling and much more.
