Valley of Beauties

Sz passzonyvolgy 50, Eger, Hungary

Description:

The valley of beauties, which is also called the Hungarian "Mulenbaron", is located in the southern part of the country, on the border with Serbia, 110 km from Budapest. There are magnificent thermal springs, the healing water of which has long been used for the treatment of various diseases, as well as for cosmetic procedures. In the XIX century, the valley of beauties became a favorite holiday destination for Hungarians, so the name “Hungarian Mulenbar” was assigned to it. The valley is a series of high mountain peaks, crowned with picturesque wooded slopes and covered with vineyards, and small cozy valleys with water sources. This unique place is located in the province of Keleshmati, which occupies the southern part of the Hungarian province of Eger and is its largest and most fertile area. The water temperature in the springs of the valley is 36-38 degrees Celsius all year round, except March and April.

To get to this unique place, you need to drive from Budapest on the road No. 1 or No. 2 to the south, then turn southeast, to the Chaillot River, where you can see the sign “Batthy utca”. Then on the sign you should walk another two kilometers and you will get to the valley of beauties. At the highest point of the valley are the springs of Egersalok, which are used both for medicinal purposes and in baths to cool down.
