Eger Fortress
Description:
The city of Eger, where the fortress of Eger is located, occupies the northeastern part of Hungary in the Geves region.
This colorful and attractive city is located exactly in the middle between the capital – Budapest and the city of Niregygaz (130 km in each direction). Getting to Eger by public transport is very easy. Drive from Budapest to Eger two hours northeast on the M3 road (via Fyuseshaboni).
If you are traveling by your own transport, before leaving for Eger, think about where you will park your car.
You can park near the hotel where the room is booked or at several parking lots in the city center.
