Bori Castle

Má riavolgy 54., 8000 Sz kesfeh rvá r, Magyarorszá g

Description:

Bori Castle is an unusual landmark on the outskirts of Szekesfehervar, built, in fact, by one person for 40 years. This man is Yeno Bori, sculptor, architect, builder. A feature of the castle is the diverse use of reinforced concrete. As Yeno himself said, it was this material that allowed him to build the castle.

In order to see this sight, you must first get to Szekesfehervar. It is very easy to do from the capital of Hungary, Budapest. You need to get to the South Railway Station and take the train to Balaton (get off at Szekesfehervar station). The journey will take about an hour. An alternative is the Erzebet bus station, from which buses run regularly. But in this case, it is worth considering the possibility of traffic jams.

Getting to Szekesfehervar, you need to take the bus number 26A, departing from the bus station or 31, 32, departing from the railway station. The castle is open to visitors daily from 9.00 – 17.00.
