The river has played an important role in the life of the South Vietnamese. It is impossible to enumerate all the advantages that the river gives – countless ships and boats scurry around it on their business, marine fishing vessels are repaired here, merchants move along the river to the market, residents of the coastal areas take children to school on boats, sand is extracted from the bottom, which is then used in construction – the river is still the only source of income for many living on its banks!
In Nha Trang, in addition to the beautiful sea and long beaches, there is also such an artery - the full-flowing Shong Kai River, on the banks of which the whole diversity of Vietnamese rural life is represented. Rice fields that plow with the help of huge buffaloes, thatched shacks adjacent to stone houses, picturesque coconut gardens, rickety wooden bridges, Buddhist pagodas and Christian temples, peasants, coffee roasting and fishing children playing football right on the river shoals ...
Having made a fascinating trip along the Kai River, you will see Nha Trang from the other side: with its fishing outskirts, majestic Cham Towers, Buddhist prayer halls on stones in the middle of the river... Stunning natural landscapes and majestic mountains will remain in your memory for a lifetime. Peace and tranquility are the two words most suitable for passing landscapes.
Our journey begins at 15:00. From the river pier at the foot of the Ponagar towers, on a small comfortable motorboat we go on the way. We will go upstream to the dam, above which, alas, you cannot climb by boat. We will return after sunset. The deep and low starry sky, the ringing silence of the jungle and the river will set you up for a romantic wave.
For the completeness of the experience on board you will be offered a real authentic rum made from cane, which grows here, a variety of tropical fruits and soft drinks.
If desired, you can start the tour in the morning, and part of the river cruise is replaced by a car tour of the villages on the banks of the Kai River.
