2 Th ng 4, Nha Trang, Kh nh H a, Vi t Nam

Description:

According to historians and archaeologists, the Tamsk towers of Po Nagar were built in the VII-XII centuries. Initially, there were 8 towers built on the territory, which was used for religious rituals as early as the II century AD. Only 4 towers have survived to this day.

The Tyam towers were built in honor of the goddess Yang Ino Po Nagar, who, according to legend, was the patroness of Nha Trang. Traditions of ceremonies and rituals in this area are still preserved: Tam Towers are regularly visited by Chinese and Vietnamese Buddhists.

The North Tower is also known as Thap Tinh. At the entrance to the tower is the dancing god Shiva, personifying the destructive beginning of the universe, transformation, creation. In the tower there is a meditation hall, in which many centuries ago the locals performed meditations and sought their way, found harmony and peace. At the moment, the hall is badly destroyed - time has not spared it. However, warm and pleasant energy can be felt today. Thap Tinh Tower is the most beautiful of the four survivors. Also of interest is the way of building towers, during the construction of honey bricks did not use any gluing compounds, bricks sintered among themselves.

On the territory of the Tyam Towers there is also a museum, which tells a lot about the times of ancient Tamsk sages and the peculiarities of people’s life in the Nha Trang district.
