Hakone

Journey to Hakon

Description:

Hakone is a paradise where you can escape from the bustle of the city and relax from the crazy rhythm of the metropolis.

A small resort town is located on the territory of the picturesque Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park.

Hakone is known for its thermal springs, volcanoes, various museums, botanical garden, fantastic views and magnificent nature.

The business card of Hakone is Lake Asi - a crystal clear natural reservoir in the crater of the volcano. It is from here that stunning views of Mount Fuji - one of the symbols of the Land of the Rising Sun - open.

Another unique place is a centuries-old cedar alley. Here you can enjoy the coolness and be filled with healing energy in the shade of majestic trees.

To see the beauty and expanses of Hakone from a bird's eye view you can make a fascinating walk on the funicular - cable car.

In Hakon I suggest you visit:

Outpost, a checkpoint during the Edo era, when power was held by the Tokugawa shogunate. Here historically accurately recreated prison wards, security room, office premises.

We will ride on a stylized pirate ship on Lake Asi and, if we are lucky with the weather, along the way we will see the famous Mount Fuji!

We will visit the valley of geysers - Ovakudani, where we will taste black eggs. According to legend, a local delicacy extends life by 7 years.

Visit the open-air sculpture museum Choukoku-no-Mori, where you can enjoy the harmony of modern art and picturesque landscapes.

At the end of the day, relax in a hot healing spring on the territory of one of the traditional Japanese Ryokan hotels, located on the green hills and valleys along the shores of Lake Asi.

If desired, you can go shopping, buy souvenirs and traditional mosaics.
