Togetsukyo Bridge
Togetsuky & #333 Bridge, Japan
Description:
Togetsukyo Bridge (another name - "Moonway") is a wooden bridge, the length of which is about two hundred meters. Interestingly, the name of the river changes: to the west of the bridge it is called Hozu, and to the east - Katsura.
In the past, noble families often walked on the bridge. Especially popular were night walks, during which you could watch the performance-fishing "Ukai".
The bridge is located against the background of Mount Arashiyama. This is where you get a wonderful view of her. The most picturesque landscapes can be seen in autumn or during cherry blossoms.
