Okinawa Island

Bell of the Sea, the island of Adam and Eve

Description:

We offer you a route to the northernmost part of Okinawa, Kouri Island and Neo Zoo. After the island was connected to the main island by a bridge in 2005, it became the most visited place among tourists. On the way to the island you can enjoy the view of the emerald sea. Kouri Island is popular among tourists for its magnificent landscapes. You can enjoy the view of the Kouri Bridge from the observation deck of the ocean tower, which rises 82 meters above sea level.
There are old houses and sugarcane fields on the island, and the original landscapes of Okinawa are preserved here.
Kouri Island is traditionally known as “Koi, but Shima” or “Island of Love”. This is because Okinawa believes in legends such as Adam and Eve. The island is visited by couples from all over the country.
There are 3 beaches: Kouri Beach, which is located next to the Kouri Bridge, Tinu Beach, famous for its heart stone, and Tokei Beach, where the “giant kettle” is located (a round hole in large stones on the beach).
A half-hour drive from Kouri Island is the Neo Zoo. Here you can not only see exotic birds, fish and rare animals (capybaras, giant land turtle, kinkahu, etc.), but also feed all animals. The route includes lunch or dinner in a cafe with sea views.
Create an unforgettable experience of Okinawa!
