You no longer have to spend money in expensive and crowded tourist places or at random choose a place for lunch.

What awaits you?
The obligatory program includes breakfast in the heart of old Baku, a visit to a real oriental bazaar, lunch at a fish restaurant and dinner on the main square. You are waiting for the best national cafes with a pleasant authentic atmosphere and real Azerbaijani cuisine, multifaceted and rich.

Home-style breakfast in the Old Town.
Before breakfast, you need to whet your appetite, so the tour will begin with a tour of the historical sights of the old city of Icheri Sheher.
You will hear legends intertwined with historical events that once took place at these dusty stone walls. Admire the mosques and majestic palaces directed in the blue heights, sweep your hand along the walls of medieval baths, take a picture on the background of the fortress walls and caravanserais. The ancient walls remember the old days, but are still strong and majestic. It is not surprising that some buildings are still in use - for example, in one of the old caravanserais there is a wonderful national cafe. In it you stop to have breakfast.
A traditional Azerbaijani breakfast is a simple, tasty and hearty meal that energizes for the whole day: hot scented cakes directly from the tandoor, homemade butter, delicious farm milk cheese, thick amber honey, hot tea with herbs and strong coffee - black or with cream.
While you are tasting uncomplicated mouth-watering dishes, the guide will tell you what dishes were preferred by Azerbaijanis in ancient times and how their diet has changed now.

Walk in the eastern bazaar and tasting sweets.
After a hearty and tasty breakfast in the Old City, you will go to the largest bazaar in Baku. For a real Azerbaijani, going to the bazaar is an important and responsible occupation, which takes quite a lot of time. And no wonder: you need not only to buy products, but also to bargain thoroughly, discuss all city news and see friends. However, you yourself will understand why it takes so much time to go around the bazaar - smiling sellers greet each buyer as a native, offer to try, touch and try on everything. Even if you were not originally going to buy anything, you are unlikely to leave without shopping. Yes, and how to resist when you are offered absolutely free honey at every step (“my grandfather drove yesterday!”), They place jars of herbs and spices on the counter and give a slice of a scarlet of watermelon flowing out of juice directly into the hand. The Oriental Bazaar is a spectacular sight, it delights all senses at once. These are mountains of blood-red pomegranates, and emerald green watermelons, and fragrant stacks of melons, and the collapse of vegetables on picturesque counters, and rows of pot-bellied jars of jam of all kinds. And the Baku sweets! Their names sound like a wonderful song: honey baklava, nut halva, girmabadam, peshvenk ...

Gifts of the Caspian Sea for lunch.
After a walk around the bazaar, a trip to the vicinity of Baku awaits you. It is here that for hundreds of years hardworking farmers have been cultivating the very cucumbers, tomatoes, figs and grapes that then go to the shelves.
You will see the most interesting local attractions. Among them is a real Zoroastrian temple and a burning mountain. Do you know that many Bakuis still honor pagan traditions? You will learn about why and how this happens during a walk.
In the market, you only teased your appetite, so it's time to have lunch! Lunch will be held in one fishing village of fish dishes, which are highly appreciated by all gourmets of Baku.
The main trump cards of this place are fish skewers with spices and dishes in pomegranate and cornel sauce with barberry and tomatoes from the gifts of the Caspian Sea - the best Caspian fish (bersh, omul, sturgeon, beluga, mullet). The chef says he uses dozens of spices in the marinade and keeps this unique formula a closely guarded secret.

Dinner: lamb and real Azerbaijani pilaf.
After lunch, you will return to the city to take a short promenade to interesting places covered by city legends. The streets of the center of the capital are always picturesque, backgammon lovers gather in the evenings and the evening sun so wonderfully lays on the walls of cozy houses. Having walked around the streets of Baku and heard a few exciting stories about people and events, you will go to dinner at a national restaurant.
Local chefs are specialists in traditional Azerbaijani cuisine. They masterfully prepare mutton dishes and almost a dozen kinds of pilaf - from giime pilaf to brocade dosheme. Try whatever you like, but be sure to leave room for dessert. Sweets here are also beyond praise!
