Hagartsin Monastery

The monastery of Agartsin ( Мон) in Armenia (Dilijan) is a famous landmark, on the territory of which the burial of Khachatur Taronatsi, a well-known medieval theologian, musician, abbot of the monastery, is located.

The ancient temple complex of the XI-XIII centuries is surrounded by a picturesque wooded valley located on the territory of the Ijevan Range National Park, at a distance of only 18 km from Dilijan. You can get to the cultural center of the country with regular excursion groups or independently, by personal car or taxi. Coordinates: 40°48'06'N and 44°53'25'E.
