Guide in Sochi Alisa Morozova: Travel is always a miracle of discovering everything new! Let everyone have the opportunity to travel!
On February 21, many cities around the world celebrate World Tourist Guide Day, or World Tourist Guide Day.
The correspondent of the portal "Personal guide" spoke with Alice MorozovaAs a guide in the Krasnodar region, Sochi and Red Polyana about the features of the profession and the work of the guide.
How did you become a guide?
One day, friends took me to the waterfalls of the Svanidze stream and I liked it so much that I invited friends to come with me. 27 friends came from different cities.
And then they asked me why I didn't work as a tour guide, and I got my first 100 rubles per tour. So I became a tour guide.
What is the most interesting thing about your profession?
The most interesting thing about my profession is the feeling of oneness with people when we rest and feel the energy of the present moment. Finding a path to shared happiness and joy.
What's the hardest thing about your case?
The most difficult thing is not to believe and not to fall for someone’s unpleasant state, because all these states are temporary, they will pass.
What excursions do you remember? Do you remember interesting stories from your practice (unexpected, funny, etc.)?
The most unusual excursion was when the girls arrived, their husbands had a forum in Sochi and they did not want to take them with them. They decided not to bother their husbands. We did everything by itself fun and very cool.
15 minutes before the arrival at the port ordered a yacht, in the port we met the captain for some reason with flowers, champagne and in the suit of the captain.
When they went to the Eagle Rocks, they wanted strawberries, and it was right down the road, the club had a good program. In Skypark, too, it turned out to be very dynamic.
And at the end of our holiday, their husbands also wanted to go with us, not to their forum entertainment program, because we had more fun and they were getting nervous.
The day we were picking them up, our driver couldn't come with us and sent his wife. She's a model, and she's dressed up in a F1 event costume because we were planning on going to the Formula track.
And so we drive up, and I see these disgruntled faces change to genuine surprise. Well, the girls say, "Tell them something about history."
And then everyone was surprised, because I love history and can tell interesting stories, and here I decided to joke and lead the beginning of the tour, as a classic Soviet guide, it turned out great, now we were already laughing together.
Thank you to these people for such wonderful days.
Another funny story was when, after many days of work, she led a regular excursion to Polyana. We come to Skypark, and I say there was a man jumping in a wheelchair. Pause... And the tourist says, "It's probably not the first time I've jumped."
Then I paused again and finally got the joke, and we laughed with the whole bus from the heart, because it was written right on my face, how gradually it comes to me.
There was also a bit of black humor when I was working with groups in Israel. Still, there is a difference in mentalities, they are so noisy, at the same time open people, it was great with them, but all the time on a powder keg.
And then the tour was over, but they still decided to go on yachts.
There must have been some kind of holiday at the port, because almost all the staff were a little cocky.
I handed over my group to the yacht manager and sat down on the bench, rest, I think. And then the administrator calls and says, "Your grandmother drowned!"
I said, "Are you okay?" She says, "Not exactly." I'm running to the boat. Grandma is standing, shouting, "Call the divers, where's my purse!"
It turns out that the captain of the yacht gave his grandmother a hand to make it more pleasant and easier for her to enter the yacht, and she thought that he wanted to steal a purse, jumped from him into the water. Thank God it worked out.
P.S. She left the bag with money and documents in the room, in the safe.
Spring. Taking the group to Krasnaya Polyana. Women are so good, my mother's age, kind. Everyone looked. I feel like it, very good grateful people, come cherry blossoming.
She sang the song “Snow White Cherry Blossoms Under the Window...”
And they like to pick up and voices so beautiful, clean, even the driver looks too happy, can not listen, and sang the whole way back. Thank you for that day.
The band was kind of childish. And for some reason I was planted in a children's group of a maniac who looks like a maniac. Such a subtle, suspicious, and also trying to joke about children somehow unpleasantly. I think we should watch the kids. I also went on a trip with the kids, too. And he set time and let go on the rope himself.
Standing on a mountain, amongst blueberries, eating blueberries. There's this guy coming from somewhere, and he says, "Is that blueberries?" The berries look black. I saw it, I said. And then I decided to make sure again, and he has already chewed them and the green juice is flowing from his mouth. "Spit!" I shout to him, it's nightshade, sweet bitter. And the children in choir: "Good job, Alice, poisoned the maniac, now we will go back without him!"
Another interesting story. The girl lost her earring during the New Year excursion, and on March 8, a child found it on my excursion and returned it to her.
Your favorite places in Sochi
Eagle rocks and Agur gorge, Azhek waterfalls, waterfalls of Svanidze stream, Arboretum, center of Sochi, Bzerpin cornice, Mountains of Red Polyana.
For each route, there is the best time of year when it is worth visiting.
What advice would you give to tourists going to Sochi?
I would advise you not to sit in a hotel, go for a walk! Sochi was created as a city-park, a city-garden. We have a completely safe Russian city, dress comfortably and visit the routes of the national park.
- February, March. Arboretum Park and Southern Cultures Park. Here you can see many different flowering magnolias and camellias. The waterfalls are full all the time except August.
- May-August Krasnaya Polyana, the routes of the reserve.
- June 20 - August 10 blooming alpine meadows. Also at any time Stalin's Dacha, Yuri Novikov's Museum of Ceramics. If you go to Polyana on holidays, climb the cable car Gazprom Laura or Alpika Service. There won't be queues.
- If you plan to go from Sochi to Sirius (Olympic Park) on your own, use the train.
The best souvenirs from Sochi: tea, chestnut honey, dried persimmon, fig jam. It's our local thing.
You can eat everywhere, you can drink water from the tap, everyone cares about cleanliness. Make yourself at home, because Sochi is our common Russian resort.
Where and how do you like to travel?
I like to travel everywhere. The main thing is to have nature and historical sights. I really liked Angkor Wat, Lycian Trail, Alps. I plan a tour myself, study history, where I need a guide.
Travel is always the miracle of discovering everything new! Let everyone have the opportunity to travel!
