Pyatigorsk (Stavropol Territory): treatment with radon at the resort
In PyatigorskThe balneological resort of Caucasian Mineral Waters has a unique natural radon of high concentration. Just like the Urals. In the Crimea there is a weakly concentrated natural radon and in sanatoriums of Russia use artificial imitating natural radon. But radon LPUP "Pyatigorsk balneo-mud hospital" among them is the best.
The therapeutic properties of radon have long been known. The main active principle used in radon therapy is an inert radioactive gas with a radium half-life of 4 days.
When radon decays, alpha, beta and gamma particles are formed: isotopes with a half-life of about half an hour.
Radon treatment refers to a form of alpha therapy that changes the function of various organs and systems. The human body is affected by the radiant energy of particles pieces of helium nuclei. The mechanism is based on the ionization of protein molecules and DNA molecules of cell nuclei, which causes significant changes in health. Predominantly immunomodulating and hormone-correcting effects.
When used, radon forms an active plaque both on the surface of the mucous membranes, the skin, and inside the body.
For example, under the influence of radon baths, oxidants O, H2O2 are formed, which have a pronounced biological effect on the cells of the body. Radon baths can not be attributed to the category of gas, since the amount of gas in them is negligible.
By itself, a gas that occupies a millionth of a cubic millimeter in 200 liters of hydrocarbonate-sulphate-calcium-sodium water cannot have any effect on the body.
For the release of procedures for a high concentration of radon 180-200 nCi / l, natural water from a source of 150-240 nCi / l is supplied to the Pyatigorsk balneo-mud hospital.
The well in the mountain Beshtau from the mark of 722 m along the radon conduit length of 8500 m spontaneously enters the accumulator from which to the hospital. Special radiological dosimetry laboratory at the hospital conducts observations of radon content.
The procedures are carried out under the strict supervision of doctors. So, for example, the bath radon dry air, is held about 15 minutes, with a concentration of useful active substances of 20 nCi / l and a temperature of 38 degrees C.
Air-radon dry baths are one of the most expensive procedures (1300 ш), the treatment takes place in an emanatorium, a special room. The air-radon mixture is prepared using an installation according to a certain technology, during which radon is extracted from the water in a vacuum and give the mixture a certain concentration, a given temperature.
Dry baths exclude hydrostatic pressure and are effective in diseases of the respiratory system, allergies, heart and blood vessels.
Unlike traditional individual baths, which help with a wider range of diseases: pressure, normalization of heartbeats, in terms of increasing immunity, have a cosmetic and anti-inflammatory effect, normalize blood composition, tissue regeneration, metabolism, cholesterol, are effective for gynecological problems, for example, fibroids prone to growth, problems of the endometrium of the uterus in combination with microclysters and high concentration irrigation.
Radon is in fact the most effective means of combating gynecological diseases of women, leading to fertility. No contraindications: common in balneotherapy.
The healing properties of radon treatment are confirmed in studies in India, China, Iran, Russia and the United States, for example, mass epidemiological studies of B. Cohen.
Natural radon stimulates protective immune reactions of the body, which is a manifestation of radiation hormesis, that is, a stimulating effect on the body. The body becomes resistant, including to diseases such as oncology. The effectiveness of the use of radon is not in doubt among medical resorts and confirmed by radiation hygienists. Even more so: popular recognition and love.
