Cathedral of the Assumption of the Most Holy Mother of God
Description:
The Assumption Cathedral is located in the center of Varna, on the square of Cyril and Methodius. And it is a three-nave dome cathedral.
The cathedral belongs to the Varna and Velikopreslavsky Metropolis of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church.
The temple was officially opened in 1886 as a monument to the liberation of Varna from Ottoman rule. And belongs to the chair of the Metropolitan of Varna and Velikopreslavsky, the metropolitan of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church.
