About the company:

One of the attractions of the city of Varna is the magnificent National Maritime Museum, which offers tourists an introduction to the history of Bulgaria, starting with the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1978. It was founded in 1923 by a group of enthusiasts. In 1956 he was moved to Villa Diana, located in the beautiful Sea Garden. In the museum you can see an exhibition of various marine firearms, as well as one of the first minesweepers.

Collections that reflect the maritime history of the country are presented in 12 small halls. Visitors will be able to see samples of ships, marine uniforms and maritime insignia here. Artillery, helicopters and anchors lie on the platforms, and a valuable exhibit - the yacht "Cor Coroli" stands in a glass window. Another important example is the destroyer "Duddy", which during the First Balkan War sank the Turkish ship "Hamidi". The National Maritime Museum also features a huge collection of sea mines, anchors, coastal and ship guns. The institution has a rich library. This place will be very interesting for tourists who are fond of military themes.
