Christmas in Copenhagen

Denmark is a small kingdom in Scandinavia. From generation to generation, the Danes cherish and pass on their glorious traditions. Christmas is one of the main holidays for the whole family.

I invite you to the excursion "Christmas Copenhagen" in the city of Christmas atmosphere, light, scenery and Christmas markets.

We will start our tour at the Town Hall Square near the main city tree. Here G. H. Andersen sits and looks at the famous Tivoli Park, where we will go first.

There are many Christmas shops, restaurants, music and attractions for every taste. Let’s try hot mulled wine and Christmas pastries in the country of dwarfs and Santa Claus – the Danish Yuleman.

We will go further along the old pedestrian street of Stroje to the Christmas market in the Old and New Market Squares.

The next stop is at the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Store, where Christmas souvenirs, crystal and porcelain products, and the play of light and stars.

We reach the Royal Square in the New Harbour area, where restaurants invite you to a traditional Christmas dinner.

We will try different herring, low-salted salmon, hollow, hot pork cutting, livery pate, Christmas glazed ham and for sweet - rice dessert with hot cherry sauce and almonds.

Dark beer Karlsberg and Tuborg and Danish schnapps will not interfere with lunch.

We will finish our tour at the Amaliaborg Royal Residence Square in Christmas Eve Copenhagen.
