National Museum of Denmark
Description:
Welcome to a couple of hours of Danish history!
The National Museum covers 14,000 years of Danish history, from the Ice Age to modern times. You will see artifacts related to the early history of Denmark, and the diamond of the museum, which is also the unofficial symbol of the museum, the Solar Chariot from Trunnholm (XV century BC), the creative power of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, and also hear the story of the “weight loss” of the Kingdom of Denmark, which turned from a pompous clumsy monarchy and obese mistress of the Baltic into a small, toned and healthy state.
The museum has a playroom for children.
The cost of the tour does not include the cost of tickets to the museum.
