Enghave Park

Ejderstedgade 1, 1761 Copenhagen, Denmark

Description:

Enghave Park, located in the Westerbro area, is one of the popular holiday destinations. The park was laid in the late 1920s and decorated in a neoclassical style. Here harmoniously combined neatly trimmed lawns and colorful flower beds, smooth rows of decorative bushes and ponds. At the same time, several houses were designed with social housing. They still surround the park from several sides.

The territory of the park consists of six zones: a rose garden, a garden, ponds, sports grounds, a playground for children and a place for picnics. In the center of the park there is a pool with a fountain, which was chosen by ducks, gulls and herons. Visitors to the park are happy to feed them. At the main entrance there are antique statues. Enghave Park is hugely popular with locals who like to gather here for picnics, or stroll with families. Open-air concerts are often held on the stage.
