Anchor - a monument to military sailors
Nyhavn 7, 1051 Copenhagen, Denmark
Description:
Nyhavn Harbour, or New Harbour, is one of the interesting and very picturesque areas of Copenhagen. The building here is very dense, small bright houses fit tightly together, and clouds reflect in the waters of the harbor. Each berth moored yachts that occupy almost all the free space.
Here, at the beginning of the harbor, in a small square there is a monument in memory of the sailors who died in the battles of the Second World War. It is a huge anchor, mounted directly on the paving stone. Around the anchor of granite blocks, a ring is laid out on which a commemorative inscription is engraved.
