Copenhagen Central Station
Description:
The modern building of Copenhagen Central Station was built in 1911 by the design of Heinrich Wenk. The station was rebuilt in 1980 and 2004. Thanks to the recent reconstruction, the station has become one of the most modern railway stations in Denmark.
The station has 13 platforms from which trains depart both abroad and domestically. It is one of the busiest railway stations in the country. It is planned that by 2018 the station will be connected to the local metro network.
On the territory of the station there are many cafes, shops, exchange offices.
