The palace was built in the first half of the 20th century. The view of the palace amazes with its luxury and scale. Montaza Palace itself is surrounded by well-groomed trees and shrubs.
The Royal Palace is divided into two parts. The former is used as the residence of local authorities and is closed to tourists. The second part of the palace is given as an elite hotel and has a well-equipped beach for guests.
Tourists have the opportunity to look at the Royal Palace only from afar, or walk along the adjacent beach.
You can get to the Montaza Palace by public transport from Orabi Square or from Mahatta Masra.
