Ras al-Tina Gardens
cape Ras al-Tina, Alexandria, Egypt.
Description:
The gardens of Ras al-Tin are located near the palace of Muhammad Ali on Cape Ras al-Tin, in Alexandria. The gardens, like the palace of the same name, were built in the middle of the XIX century for the use of the royal dynasty. The palace is made in the style of the Italian Renaissance and occupies a vast territory on the coast itself.
Today, the Ras al-Tina Palace serves as the presidential residence, and guests of honor of Alexandria are immediately accommodated. The gardens, unlike the Palace itself, are now open to tourists. It is not difficult to guess that in the garden grows a lot of fig trees (Arabic - "tin"). Here you will find figuratively trimmed shrubs, flowers, a picturesque fountain and winding paths paved with snow-white stone.
