Mahmoud Saeed Museum
6 Mohamed Pasha Said St. Ganaklis, Alexandria, Egypt
About the company:
The Mahmoud Said Museum, located in Alexandria, will take you to the middle of the twentieth century.
It was Mahmoud Said who became the first among Egyptian artists who worked in the twentieth century. All his works are made in different styles, which skillfully combine both socialist realism and cubism. Mahmoud saw the life of the Egyptians in a special way and tried to convey all its nuances in his canvases.
All works are filled with the spirit of glorification of Egypt and the national color of the country. In his work, he gave a special place to a woman. Through the paintings of Mahmoud Said, a woman is traced as a symbol of the strength of all living things, as a symbol of the revolutionary movement.
By the way, all paintings of Said are in the premises of a luxury villa made in Italian style. Its construction was carried out for several years. And still, as many years ago, it exhibits forty paintings of the artist.
