Alexandria International Airport is also known as El Nouzha. It is located 7 kilometers southeast of the center of Alexandria.
The airport offers services to domestic destinations in Egypt, as well as many other cities in the Arab world. Basically, the fleet includes models of aircraft Airbus A320-200 and Boeing 737-800.
In 2009, El Nouja Airport served 11,42412 passengers. At the moment, the airport is closed for reconstruction, the cost of which exceeds $ 120 million. The airport is scheduled to resume operations in 2013.
