Description:

The Temple of Karnak (Egypt, Luxor) deservedly is currently the largest temple complex of the Ancient World, a kind of residence of the heavenly gods on mortal earth. The attraction is located on the territory of ancient Thebes or a small village of Karnake, which occupies the eastern bank of the Nile. The distance by public transport or private car from Luxor is only 2.5 km.

Popular among tourists, the architectural complex includes a very large number of ancient buildings and structures, which in the late 70s of the last century were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
