Luxor river port

In the city of Luxor is one of the largest river ports in Egypt. The port of Luxor used to be a leading river traffic centre for merchant ships. The main activity of the port is tourism. From the right bank of the Nile, cruise ships depart daily and follow the excursion route. Also from the port of Luxor opens a private river service that takes tourists to the neighboring attractions, temples, beaches and embankments.

To get to the port in Luxor from the Egyptian capital, you can rent a car or take a bus to the Luxor station. It should be noted that the road is not close and quite expensive. You can also use river transport running along the Nile River.
