Sharm El Sheikh

Turtle Bay reef

Egypt, Sharm El-Sheikh

Description:

Turtle Bay is not a very popular diving spot at the northern tip of Grand Giftun Island. It is a small horseshoe reef that is completely filled with fish and coral.

Diving in Turtle Bay can be very interesting. You can spend a lot of time here, the terrain is shallow and visibility is excellent. And the views that await divers are amazing.

Diving is done either from a boat or from the shore: the coast is almost entirely covered by fringing or barrier reefs, with very few sandy beaches; more impressive diving spots are located off the coast.
