Description:
Friends, if you want to visit a real Estonian fairy tale, I invite you to tour the islands of Muhu and Saaremaa! These are amazing places that can be called one of the most interesting and colorful in Estonia.
After leaving Tallinn, we will reach the port of Virtsu, where we will take a ferry that will take us to the island of Muhu. On this small island, visiting the fishing village of Koguva, we will be able to plunge into the amazing world of island life. Moving over a three-kilometer dam, we will find ourselves on the largest Estonian island - Saaremaa.
During the tour of the island you will see numerous sights: the town of Kaali, the main pearl of which is a lake of meteoric origin, the museum of windmills of Angla, the ruins of the Order Castle of Zoneburg, well of course we will visit the administrative center of the island - the city of Kuresaare with its beautifully preserved Episcopal Castle.
While visiting the island, I suggest you dine in one of the cozy cafes of the city or visit a private inn to drink homemade beer and eat smoked flounder.
You will see.
