Tallinn

Tallinn outside the fortress walls by car

Description:

A sightseeing car tour of Tallinn will acquaint you with the main sights of the city, the inspection of which on foot would be tedious, because listening to the guide in the car is convenient, warm and dry.

The tour guide will meet you at the hotel. We will immediately head to the palace and park complex Kadriorg, where we will get acquainted with the house of Peter I, the KUMU Museum, the Imperial Palace (without visiting museums) and the park, which is beautiful in winter and summer. Then we go to the Singing Field, the center of national singing festivals, then to the palace of Count Orlov-Davydov, which many remember as "Baskerville Hall" in the film about Sherlock Homs. The palace now houses a branch of the Historical Museum, and behind the building is a cemetery of monuments, where no guide will take you.

We will go to the area of Pirita to the ruins of the monastery of St. Peter. Birgitta, which can be seen in the film "The Last Relic". On the way back, we look at the 1980 Olympic complex and pass along the embankment of Tallinn Bay; the panorama of the old city that opens from it is considered one of the most beautiful in Europe, according to UNESCO. The last stop we have at the monument to the sunken battleship "Mermaid". Then we tour the esplanade (around the old town) and finish the tour.
