About the company:
Quensel House, the oldest bourgeois house in Turku, was built around 1700. The interiors in the Rococo and Gustavian styles give a good idea of the interior decoration of the lordly dwellings of that time.
In the house of the merchant Quensel in Turku, a pharmacy museum is opened, telling about the history of the pharmacy and the pharmacy business of the first half of the 19th century. In the summer there is a cafe and a herb shop.
In the residential house of the merchant of Quensel you can get acquainted with the fully preserved decoration of a typical bourgeois house of ancient Turku. The house was built in the early 18th century. Its rooms, designed in the Rococo style of the Gustavian era, will give you an idea of the interior decoration of the lord's dwellings of those times when Finland was under the rule of Sweden.
