Krka Reserve

Description:

From Split to Krka National Park you need to drive 100 km. Let's go down the highway to see the city of Skradin. We'll leave the car there and take a boat to the reserve.

Krka State Reserve is a natural phenomenon of Dalmatian karst, the area of the protected area is 109 km2. On its flow to the sea, the Krka River creates seven noisy, picturesque cascades, of which the most famous is Roshki and Skradinski cascade. We will see and will always be at Skradinsky Falls, because it is the most beautiful and its route is the longest.

We will visit a rich ethno presentation, walk through the park. In water mills presented grinding grain, washing and rolling, fabric bags, forging horseshoes, cooking in the old kitchen. It's really amazing nature. And what is the best - on Skradinsky waterfall you can swim and eat the most delicious trout. But, I must say that the most delicious brudet (stew from seafood, i.e. from sea eel) can be eaten in the city of Skradin, it will be possible on the way back. Of course, if you want. And it is also important to understand that Krka National Park can be called mini Plitvice Lakes, while Krka is only 1.5 hours from the city of Split, which makes it more accessible for holidaymakers in Central Dalmatia.
