What to see in Šibenik

Sibenik is an atmospheric coastal city in Croatia with a deep history and cozy stone architecture. The narrow streets of the old city, the terraces above the sea and the harmony between the sea air and the ancient walls create a special mood where the past coexists with measured modern life. The city beckons with its streets, seaport and warm authenticity, from which you want to open every alley.

Among the man-made attractions, a special place is occupied by the Cathedral of Sibenik, it is also the Cathedral of St. James, mentioned as the oldest attraction of Croatia. Its stone architecture and carving skills attract history and art lovers. In the old town you can also see traditional stone houses, embankments, memorial squares and museums that tell about the maritime and cultural heritage of Sibenik.

Natural attractions and places

Natural wonders near the city are equally impressive: The Krka National Park is famous for its seven cascades and the quiet Krka River, where calm beaches coexist with musical waterfalls.
