Museum-atelier of Ivan Meshtrović
About the company:
The house, acquired by the world-famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović, is now turned into a museum. An extensive collection of works by the talented master is located in the open-air gallery near the house. Here are presented both ready-made works of art that have gained respect from professional artists and art critics of our time, and sketches of the sculptor, primary sketches. The house-museum is located near Zagreb, in Split and today belongs to the Meštrović Foundation along with his personal documents and household items. The collection is crowned by large-scale sculptures made of bronze, wood and stone. They are located directly at the entrance to the open part of the gallery.
