Description:
Juanda International Airport is the third largest and busiest airport in Indonesia. It was opened in 1964 in the vicinity of Surabaya. For a long time Juanda worked as a naval air base, later it was used for civil aviation. Juanda is operated by Angkasa Pura. There are two terminals on the territory of the airport - domestic and international. During the year, about 15 million passengers are served here and about 120 thousand tons of cargo are transported.
The elegant terminal building offers passengers a wide range of services, including shops and restaurants. Due to the rapidly growing traffic, the construction of a new terminal for Garuda Indonesia has begun.
A five-minute walk from the airport is the parking lot of shuttle buses and taxis, here you can rent a car. A cozy hotel located on the territory of the airport will welcome transit passengers.
