Carlisle Grounds Stadium

Bray, Co. Wicklow, Ireland

Description:

Carlisle Grounds Stadium is a complex known among football connoisseurs as the Field of Wonders. Founded in 2006 in the Irish city of Bray. The stadium is used as home footballers of the Bray Wanderers team.

From the jubilation of fans in 2009, one of the stands collapsed, a year later another part of the complex collapsed, after which an investigation was conducted, and the functioning of the stadium was suspended. Today it can accommodate about 3,000 spectators, while seating is only 985. By the way, this place has been used for sports purposes since 1862: then there was a ground for archery and cricket.
