In the footsteps of Don Quixote
Description:
We have all read, not read, but heard of Don Quixote, a cunning hidalgo who became famous for his eccentricities during his adventures in search of goodness, justice and the lady of his heart - the beautiful Dulcinea.
His campaigns took place in the province of La Mancha, as the title of the book suggests. This province is located to the south of Madrid and attracts the beauty of not only its stunning landscapes and original cuisine, but also the rows of old windmills that appear here and there, clearly visible from afar on the hilltops. How not they, not the mills, are inextricably linked with the image of the brave knight Don Quixote, who saw in them, by the will of his creator Cervantes, villains and the incarnation of hell. On closer acquaintance, they do not seem to be. Some of them have preserved the spirit of the time of their famous compatriot and even mechanisms that can be seen and really touched.
This is where I invite you. It is logical to combine this trip with an excursion to Toledo, since they are located on the same road.
