Cafe Salotto 42
Piazza di Pietra 42, 00186 Rome, Italy
About the company:
In Rome, on Piazo di Pierto, between the Trevi fountains and the Pantheon, there is a book cafe, very popular among local youth. It's called Salotto 42. The atmosphere of art deco reigns here: old chairs made in the middle of the last century, chandeliers made of Murano glass, and music in the New Jazz style plays in the hall. Each visitor can appreciate the local collection of the most famous world magazines and literary works. After all, what can be more pleasant than reading a favorite book or magazine over a cup of coffee in a cozy chair?
Here you can taste many dishes of Swedish cuisine, or try one of the most delicious cocktails. The bar serves excellent wines and classic drinks. You can also order any of the 30 types of coffee that are offered in the local menu.
Salotto 42 often hosts various entertainment events. For example, every Tuesday is a student night, and on Thursdays there are literary evenings. But most visitors come here just to relax in a cozy atmosphere and have a cup of coffee with friends.
