Place de Trevi

00187 Roma, Italy

Description:

Piazza di Trevi is the unofficial name of the location of the famous fountain of the same name, the largest in Rome: its height is 26 meters, and its width is 2 meters. This grandiose structure of the 18th century, made in the Baroque style and representing a magnificent sculptural composition, adorns the facade of the Palais de Poly.

The small square is always very lively and crowded, so to take good memorable photos, it is better to come here early in the morning. According to the entrenched belief here, if you throw one coin into the fountain, you will definitely return to Rome again, if two coins meet your love, three – be a wedding. Di Trevi is surrounded by many cozy cafes, restaurants and shops. There is a beautiful temple nearby.
