Museum of Dead Souls
Via Ulpiano, 29, 00193 Roma, Italy
About the company:
The unusualness of this museum begins right from the threshold, because to view the exhibition, you must first obtain permission from a Catholic priest. There is no need to be afraid: no tourist has ever been forbidden to visit the museum. Visiting the museum in the sacristy of the church of Del Sacro Cuore del Suffraggio, you will be able to see the presence of the souls of the dead on earth - because each exhibit will be a clear confirmation of this.
The theme of ghosts runs through the exhibition: for example, a nightcap about the prints of smoked fingers. This hat is associated with a whole legend, which for decades people told each other. In 1873, on May 7, the deceased Louise le Seneschel managed to sneak under the cover of night to her husband and punish him for not observing mourning - she pinched his nose several times and pulled the cap off his head.
Visiting the museum is free and you can take photos as much as you want. So far, no film has been produced...
