National Pacaroni Museum in Rome
About the company:
Since 1889 in Rome began to operate the National Museum of pasta, which is dedicated to the origin, history, distribution of this product. It is located behind the square of the Trevi Fountain, at the slope of the Quirinale hill. There are eleven rooms in the museum, in each of them you can learn about the origin and history of pasta.
There was pasta in Greece, and the Italians took the idea from them and brought to perfection. They only call their dish pasta. The story of the origin of pasta says that both Arabs and Chinese cooked similar flour dishes. However, only the Italians were the first to dry pasta, which can be stored for several years.
Listen to information about the benefits of real Italian pasta and their great taste, see the items with which pasta is prepared. These are roller coasters, sieves, modern equipment. The main part of the museum’s collection consists of stamps, photographs, documents and postcards – in a word, everything that will help answer the question of why pasta is so common around the world. And of course, in the museum you can find recipes for making pasta, tips for the manufacture and storage of this product.
