Termini Station
Description:
Termini is the main station of Rome and the center of all the transport routes of the Eternal City: railways, underground and buses. From here, trains run to the north of Italy and further to other European countries. Railway lines connect Rome with cities such as Paris, Vienna, Geneva, Munich.
The modern building of the station, made in the modernist style, was built in 1950. The huge building has several levels at once. At the lowest level there is a whole shopping center where you can buy clothes, shoes, accessories, goods for children.
The station is conveniently located in the heart of the city overlooking Cinquecento Square. From here it is easy to reach all the important sights of Rome (for example, the Colosseum lies only a 15-minute walk).
