Church of San Lorenzo
Description:
The beautiful and unusual church of San Lorenzo was built in 1666 as the royal chapel of the Princes of Savoy. Unusual because it does not have a facade, i.e. it looks like an ordinary building and, if you do not raise your head up, then the church may not be noticed.
Inside the church amazes with the luxury of decoration. The church housed the holy shroud after it moved from Chambery, France. Now there is a copy of the Shroud of Turin in life size.
