The first treasure of our tour will be a witness to the greatness and decline of empires - the city of Sambor Prey Cook. Part of Cambodia’s legendary past, this city has seen a lot, but few people have seen it, it is too well hidden in its eternal jungle. Built in the 6th century, almost destroyed by the American bombings of 1970, Sambor Prey Cook is now restored and waiting for us. After exploring the ancient towers of this city, we will dine in Khmer style and take a picturesque road past plantations, villages and hills. But soon the usual road will end and about 30 km we will jump on the red off-road to meet the forgotten Pre Khan. In the evening we will see the two introductory temples and house in a Khmer house, in a family. You will have the opportunity to observe the openly simple life of the Khmers, their way of life and look at their character. We are waiting for a barbecue under the night sky (included in the price) and a deafening whisper of cicadas. You will fall asleep under mosquitoes and nets in the house on stilts. And in the morning we will head to the abandoned, wild and majestic temple, which silently passes centuries. I will tell you the drama of this place, its meaning, and I will open the canopy of sacred geometry. After trekking through the ruins, we will have lunch in a Khmer cafe and head back on the road.
