Tours in Laos

Description:

Tours in Laos. A guide in Laos.

Laos is the heart of Indochina. Mountainous country, located in forested subequatorial latitudes covered with mountains, rivers and waterfalls. Laos is landlocked, but borders almost all Southeast Asian countries on the continent.

Laos, like neighboring Vietnam, stretches along the Indochinese peninsula, and is divided into two parts: southern and northern. Throughout the country flows the main waterway of the region - the Mekong River.

The region is inhabited by Laotians: mountain and lowland, southern and northern, metropolitan and rural. Since time immemorial, there have also been small but quite numerous indigenous ethnic groups in Laos. All representatives of microethnos have their own unique traditions and customs.

Almost everyone has heard about this state, but few people visited this wonderful, hidden from the mass tourist region.

Laos is a state created in the 14th century by a local prince who grew up in the royal palace of Angkor. For a long time Laos was heavily influenced by Siam, and after almost 70 years became a colony of France. Yes, it is worth noting that French influence, especially in cities, is felt here almost at every turn.

Since 1975, Laos, like many other countries in the region, has become a socialist state, for a long time the country was semi-closed and under economic blockade and, of course, was completely unsuited for mass tourism.

Times are changing, borders are opening, a market economy is taking over from communist dogmas, and mass tourism in the region is gaining momentum. Laos receives guests from all over the world (for citizens of the Russian Federation there is a two-week visa-free regime), provides service (hotels, restaurants, leisure places, professional guides in Laos) at the proper level, and most importantly, certainly gives an opportunity to see previously unknown sights and tourist routes. This became available, first of all, because of the simplification of the visa regime with a number of countries, good quality roads, air links (from Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam and not only), on-site services (price-quality ratio), exemplary cleanliness and order on the streets, as well as, of course, the local population – friendly, not spoiled by the “tourist”, hospitable residents.

It is worth noting the religious life of the population. In Laos, there has never been a persecution of religion by the state, and therefore Buddhist temples with statues and relics are preserved. Due to the uniqueness of medieval temple and, more modern, colonial architecture, some cities, such as Luang Prabang, the center of the capital - Vientiane, are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. About the history of cities and its hidden corners you will see and tell Russian guide in Laos. Being there, walking along the streets, you seem to fall into the past.

You can spend the whole day and evening in the “toy” Luang Prabang. This 50,000-strong town is frozen in the past charm of French Indochina. Thousands of historical monuments have been preserved: uncountable medieval pagodas, as well as markets, trading houses and administrative buildings of the early 20th century. In the evening there are numerous cafes, restaurants and night markets with a variety of souvenirs. It’s definitely worth staying here for a couple of days.

Accompanied by a Russian guide in Laos, you can visit: the picturesque Mekong and its tributaries in different parts of the country from the south (the city of Pax and the Bolaven Plateau) to the north (Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Van Vieng), medieval temples-caves, historical centers of ancient capitals, acquaintance with village life and traditional crafts, elephant riding, inspection and bathing in waterfalls. A vacation here, accompanied by an experienced guide, will leave memories for a lifetime.

A trip to Laos is conveniently combined with a visit to Cambodia or northern Thailand. Together with a guide you can make a trip to several places in the region and go on a big trip to Cambodia - Laos - northern Thailand.

An experienced guide, Laos, correctly organizes a pastime, will show and tell all the most secret secrets of the country, help in communicating with locals and give an opportunity to form a general idea of the country.

If you are looking for a Russian guide in Laos or plan a vacation so that your route passes through the above places, write and I will make you an individual program, as well as advise you on issues of interest.
