The Caves of Batu Caves – a Sacred, Natural Wonder and the “Royal Selangor”

The center of Indian culture in Kuala Lumpur is the famous caves of Batu. Only 30 minutes from the city center and we are near the caves!!! Batu Caves is a complex of caves (3 large and many small), formed at the foot of giant limestone rocks. It is not only one of the most interesting natural attractions in Asia (and the world), but perhaps the most famous Indian shrine outside of India.

We will climb 272 steps to the main temple of the son of Shiva God Murugan, the most revered Deity in Hinduism. A great opportunity to take pictures against the background of the graceful, gilded statue of Murugan, which is 42.7 meters high.

This tour will be informative and interesting both from a historical - cultural and from a natural point of view.

Continuation of the tour at the Tin Factory “Kolorevsky Selangor”, this name was given to the tin mining and processing factory, more than 100 years ago, by one of the rulers of Malaysia. Kuala Lumpur began its development with tin mining, and the Selongor tin factory is the city-forming enterprise of the capital of Malaysia.

At the Royal Selangor factory, you will not only be shown how tin figurines, dishes and other items for the house, office and other cool things are made, but will also be given to make something from tin (a glass for water for example).

From here you can bring unique tin souvenirs from Malaysia and be sure that no one else has such figures. Even though each souvenir or figure is similar in technique and subject matter, each time it is a unique author’s work.
