Agadir

Lubnan Mosque

Morocco, Agadir, Olyan Park

Description:

This is the most beautiful mosque and the pride of Agadir, completely restored after a devastating earthquake in 1960. Today, the religious building looks exactly the same as it did a thousand years ago, and even better. The former white walls are now decorated with colorful mosaics, and the tower is clearly carved minarets. The entrance to the mosque is "guarded" by a cedar door with carved paintings.

Unfortunately, only those who profess Islam can see the splendor of the Lubnan Mosque from the inside. All the rest of the entrance to the building is forbidden, and it remains to consider the facades of the building from the gallery built nearby.
