Burt Flint Museum

The famous Marrakech Museum opened its doors to visitors in 1996. Before that, the museum building was the home of the famous Dutch traveler Bert Flint. During his life, this amazing man traveled around the world, but he felt a special love for the country of Morocco. For decades, Burt Flint has collected a personal collection of art and culture from this fabulous country. It was the rare objects he collected that prompted the authorities of Marrakech to create a museum, and at the same time became its first exhibits.

Today, 16 years after the opening, in the Burt Flint Museum you can see unique musical instruments, elegant carpets with a century of history, tools, products of Berber artisans, national clothes and much more.
