Casablanca

Author's tour in Morocco (10 days and 9 nights, breakfast + dinner)

Description:

Morocco is one of the most authentic and beautiful countries in the world. African, Arab and European customs and traditions intersect here.

Morocco is a kingdom that harbors many interesting and mysterious places that you must visit to immerse yourself in the coming exotic fairy tale.

Our group tour will allow you to see the contrasts of this modern country with ancient oriental customs.

Day 1

Welcome to Morocco!

From the first minutes in Morocco, we will take care of your comfort: our guide will meet you immediately after boarding (on the first day of the tour there is a transfer for all tourists regardless of the flight time). A short way to the hotel in Casablanca, a cozy stay and a delicious dinner will give a feeling of relaxation. And if the flight schedule allows, you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the ocean promenade and spend the sun going over the horizon.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure at 8:30 to the capital of Morocco - Rabat, then to Shafchaouen.

Our journey will begin in Casablanca with the jewel of Moroccan architecture, the Hassan II Mosque. This is the largest mosque in the kingdom, proudly towering over the ocean at 210 meters: this is the height of its majestic minaret, the highest in the world. You will have a rare opportunity to go inside during the tour - it is the only functioning mosque in the country open to non-Muslims.

Then we go to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. You will see the mausoleum of Mohammed V and see the famous towers of Hassan. And before lunch we will look at the fortress of Kasba Udaya, where the most powerful pirates lived, and enjoy a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Next is lunch. And leave for Chefchaouen. In the evening we arrive at the hotel, check-in and dinner at the hotel.

Day 3

Shefchaouen - Fez

Breakfast at the hotel. At 8:30 we begin our walk through the blue city. The maze of bright blue streets will be the perfect living background for your photos. To make the shots really juicy and memorable, bring with you clothes of contrasting shades: yellow, red or orange will look perfect here.

Our guide will show you all the beautiful locations and wait a little while while you take your beautiful photos. After the tour you will have free time for shopping and a pleasant pastime in this atmospheric city.

After lunch, we head to the city of Fez. On the way we will have stops with beautiful views (water reservoir and orange plantation). Check-in and dinner in an authentic riyad, and then free time.

Day 4

Old Town Fez

Breakfast. Departure at 9:30 in the old part of the city. On the way, we will visit the observation deck overlooking Fez.

Let's go make a mosaic. With your own eyes we will see the manufacture of mosaic plates and clay products. We can dive into the craft process.

Next, a tour of Fez, along its noisy narrow streets, bazaars with fussy residents. We will also see a very popular location, the highlight of the city - the dyeing rooms of Fez. This is a place where in huge vats they are engaged in soaking and coloring the skin. During the tour of the medina, we will be able to dine in a restaurant with real Moroccan cuisine, because Fez is considered the culinary capital of Morocco. At the end of the tour, the guide will show you the narrowest streets of Fez.

After the tour, we go to riad, dinner and free time.

Day 5

Fez - Ifran - Merzuga

Breakfast. Departure at 7:30-8:00 towards the desert. We will have a long road, which will be accompanied by incredibly beautiful, diverse landscapes.

On the way we will stop in Ifran, which is considered the Moroccan Ruble. It is an elite town with European architecture (it stands out from other cities).

The monkeys are waiting for us next. Yeah, yeah, real monkeys. And in its habitat, not in the zoo. So we can feed and photograph animals in their natural environment.

By 17:30, we arrive in the Sahara, leave things behind and jump on camels! We are waiting for a 2-hour walk through the desert barchans. We will meet the sunset on the eternal sands.

In the evening, we return to our camp, settle in cozy tents with hot water, electricity. Dinner, and then we go get acquainted with the local Saharan folklore.

In your free time you can enjoy the unreal carpet of stars in the sky, Saharan songs and dancing by the fire.

Day 6

Merzuga - Todra Gorge - Dades

Breakfast. Departure at 09:30 towards the Atlas Mountains.

We will see the famous Todra gorge with a height of 530 meters, have lunch and closer to the evening we will reach the picturesque canyon of Morocco-Dades, which is similar to the famous red canyon in Nevada in the United States. The red color of the rock is obtained from the high concentration of iron in the rock. Take beautiful photos against the background of the canyon and go to settle in a very beautiful riad. Then dinner and free time.

Day 7

Atlas Film Studios - Marrakesh

Breakfast. Departure at 9:30 towards the city of Marrakech. We are waiting for a long journey through the mountain.

On the way, we will visit the Atlas film studio, where famous films were shot (Gladiator, Ben Hur, Kundun, Mummy, Moses Bible, Escape, etc.). It would be just a boring tour of the scenery if it weren't for our special guide. He is a professional cameraman and will put you cool videos on the set with the script and music - a lot of fun! :

After lunch and in the evening we reach the most popular city of Morocco - Marrakech, check-in and dinner at the hotel, and then free time.

Day 8

The Red City of Marrakech

Breakfast. Departure at 8:30 for an excursion to the Garden of Majorelle and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. The Majorelle Garden is considered one of the most beautiful and cozy Moroccan gardens, which contains a huge collection of various cacti and plants. This is a very aesthetic place, you walk around the garden on your own, enjoy the iconic place of the city and take many photos.

Then we will go for a walk through the ancient Medina, where the walls breathe centuries of history, the aromas of spices stretch from the shops, and each turn opens a new world - carpets, lamps, mosaics, sparkling in the sun.

Take a look at the Bahia Palace, built for beauty and love, where each hall is like a poem carved in stone. Then back to the hotel for dinner. Our hotel is located in the city center, so after dinner in your spare time you can walk around the evening Marrakech.

Day 9

Marrakech - Essueira

Breakfast. Departure to Essueira.

The city was founded by the Portuguese, so the architecture of the buildings is radically different from all other urban landscapes of Morocco. Essuaira is also considered the capital of hippism.

Bob Marley and Jimmy Hendrix visited the city. We will go to the production of argan oil and see how women make oil with their own hands (from sorting and cleaning fruits to roasting).

Then we'll walk around town. In Essuair you will understand what a calm market is. Cozy shops, quiet vendors and streets. You can also find very interesting shops with handmade products.
